TARGET MUSCLES

Setup

  1. Hands on the poles, arms locked or bent — pick one and keep it.
  2. Lean into it: body makes one straight diagonal line.

How To Do It

  1. Drive one leg at a time, pushing the ground BACK.
  2. Short powerful steps, hips low.
  3. Go 15–30 meters; rest; repeat.

Breathing

Breathe rhythmically — it will get loud. That's normal.

Common Mistakes

  • Standing too upright — the lean is the leverage.
  • Tiny choppy steps with no drive — push the earth, don't tap it.
Coach Sam's cue: Move the planet backward one step at a time.
