Form check by video 路 $28 one time

One lift, thirty seconds of video. I'll tell you what to change.

Record one set of a lift on your phone, thirty seconds, and send it to me. Within two business days you get a voice note on what to change, in what order, and the exercise's figure from the library marked up with the fix. One exercise, one clip, $28, no subscription. Online, from anywhere.

What do I get for $28?

A voice note, three to six minutes, after watching the set several times. I go through the lift joint by joint, the same way I check the figures in the exercise library: knees, hips, elbows, torso, shoulders, head, feet, and one side against the other. You hear what is working, the one thing to change first, and the cue to use on the next set.

The exercise's figure from the library, marked up. I take the still figure for your lift and mark on it where your body was and where it should be, so you have a picture to check at the rack.

Nothing else. No program, no upsell in the note. If the fix needs more than a cue, I say so, and you decide.

The checklist I speak to

  • Knee: how deep it bends, whether it tracks over the foot, and whether it locks back at the top.
  • Hip: how far it hinges, and whether it finishes extended at the top.
  • Elbow: the path it takes, and whether it closes fully or bends the wrong way.
  • Torso: the angle, and whether it holds through the rep.
  • Shoulder: where the arm goes overhead or behind you, and how far.
  • Head: neutral, and above the hip on a standing lift.
  • Feet: planted, heels down, and where the weight sits.
  • Both sides: whether left and right are doing the same thing.

What should I film?

Side on for most lifts: squats, hinges, presses, rows. Put the phone at hip height, about ten feet away. From the front only if the question is knees caving or elbows flaring.

Light in front of you, not behind. A window behind you hides the joints.

The whole body in frame, feet to head, plus the bar or the dumbbells. If I cannot see the feet I cannot judge the knee.

Film one set of three to five reps at a weight you would actually train with. Warm-up weight moves differently; film the set that matters.

Thirty seconds is plenty. Do not edit it, slow it down or add music. Phone upright or on its side, either is fine.

One exercise per check. If two lifts bother you, that is two checks.

What is a form check not?

Not medical advice. If something hurts, sharp or lasting, the answer is a professional who can put hands on you, and I say so rather than guess from a clip.

It is not a program. A form check fixes one lift; it does not plan your week. That is what coaching is for.

Nor a verdict on why the last plan failed. One movement, nothing more.

How much, and how fast?

$28, one time, for one exercise. No subscription. The payment link comes in my receipt email; nothing is charged before that.

Two business days from the moment I have both the clip and the payment. Weekends do not count. If I am away, I tell you the date before you pay.

The $28 link comes with my receipt email. Nothing is charged before then.

Questions before you send a clip

Can I upload the video on this page?

No. The form on this site takes text only, and a phone clip is too big for it anyway. Reply to my receipt email with it attached or as a link. Nothing to install.

Which exercises can I check?

Any exercise in the library, and the form suggests them as you type. If your lift is not in there, name it and I will say whether video is enough.

Is the voice note personal, or a template?

Recorded for you, after watching your set. The checklist is the same for everyone; what I say about your knee is not.

What if you see something that worries you?

I say so, plainly, and point you to a professional rather than coach around it. Fitness guidance, not medical advice.

What if I want more than one lift checked?

Each exercise is its own $28 check. Every lift watched every week is monthly coaching; a form check is a fair way to find out whether we work well together first.
