Two ways to train
Same prices from Skokie as from anywhere else. Fully equipped private garage gym studio in Morton Grove, address shared on booking, same coach and same intake as the online plans.
One on one
- Built from a real intake: goals, injuries, schedule
- Coached rep by rep on the main lifts
- Notes carried into your program after each session
- 12-pack: the 13th session is free
Small group
- Groups of 3 to 4, no bigger
- Your own program, shared space and coach
- Bring your own group or ask to join one
- 13th session free when the whole group buys the 12-pack
What does a session cost, and what comes with it?
One session, one on one, is $68. Four are $248 and twelve are $698, and that twelve pack carries a free thirteenth session. A small group of three or four people is $28 each, or $298 each for the twelve pack.
The rate buys a program, not an hour of company. Before the first session I take a real intake, and every session after that writes notes back into it.
There is no free first session and no sign-up fee. If the price is the reason you have not started, say so and I will point you at the free program on the coaching page instead of selling you a pack.
How long is the drive from Skokie?
Under ten minutes from most addresses in the village. Dempster Street runs straight across the line into Morton Grove, and Oakton and Church do the same a little either side of it. No expressway, no toll, nowhere to pay for parking.
You park on the street or in the driveway and walk in. From the far east side near the Edens, add a few minutes at rush hour and we will pick a slot that misses it.
The street address is not published, because it is a house. Your booking confirmation carries it, along with the door to use and where to leave the car.
Who in Skokie does this suit?
Skokie is the biggest village on my list and the closest one, so the fit is wide. It suits the person who has paid for a health club membership for two years, used it four times, and would train properly if somebody were expecting them on Tuesday.
It suits a parent who can only train between the school run and dinner, and somebody working downtown who needs the first slot of the morning. Sessions are booked around your week, not around a class timetable.
It does not suit anyone after a fast fix, anyone under eighteen, or anyone whose doctor has not cleared them to train. This is a journey, not a race, and you should hear that before you pay rather than after.
What is in the garage, and what is not?
A bar, plates, a rack, dumbbells, bands and floor. That is the whole inventory, and it is enough to squat, hinge, press, pull and carry, which covers most of what a strong body is built out of.
Missing from the room: a wall of machines, a queue for the bench, and a playlist you did not pick. If a crowd is what gets you through the door, a club along Skokie Boulevard will do more for you than I will, and I would rather say so.
Every movement you learn on the bar here has an animated form guide in the exercise library, so you can check it again at home the same night.
What happens when the weather turns?
The garage is not insulated for a Chicago January. In-person sessions run while the weather allows, roughly spring through fall, and they pause when the cold sets in. That is the honest version, and it is on the page rather than in the small print.
Through the winter, online coaching carries the same program at $199 a month, or $149 once for a custom plan you run on your own. Same intake, same numbers, so nothing resets when you switch across and nothing resets when you switch back.
Buying a twelve pack late in the season, ask first. We will size it to the weeks that are actually left before the cold.
How do you book from Skokie?
Use the form further down this page. Tell me your goal and the days that work, and I reply within two days with the address and the first open slots. I read every note myself.
A call or a text to (847) 387-0244 works too. The longer version of the offer, with the full session breakdown, sits on the Morton Grove in-person page, and if you would rather start online the coaching application is the door.
Either side of you: Lincolnwood is south down Crawford, and Evanston is straight out Dempster the other way.
Questions from Skokie
Where exactly is the gym?
A fully equipped private garage gym studio in Morton Grove, IL, a few minutes west of the Skokie line. It is my home, so the street address is not published. It arrives in your booking confirmation with directions and where to park.
Can I bring friends from Skokie and train together?
Yes, and that is the small group: three or four people at $28 each, every one of them on their own program. You share the space and the coach, not the plan. Bring your own group or ask to be put in one.
Is there a free first session?
No. The free session is the thirteenth on a twelve pack. Buy the twelve session pack for $698 and the thirteenth is on me. In a small group, everyone gets it free when every person in that group has bought the pack.
My knee is not what it was. Can I still train?
Often, yes, once a doctor has cleared you to train. Put it on the form and the plan gets built around the knee rather than through it. This is fitness guidance and not medical advice, and pain that will not settle goes to a professional.
Can I book over the phone?
Yes. Call or text (847) 387-0244 and say you found the Skokie page. The form is faster, because it asks what I would ask anyway, but a call is fine.
Tell me what you need
No booking yet, no payment. I read every note myself and reply within two days with the address and the first open slots.
Not driving in from Skokie after all?
