How much does in-person personal training cost in Morton Grove?
In-person personal training with me costs $68 a session at a fully equipped private garage gym studio in Morton Grove. A 4-pack is $248 and a 12-pack is $698 with the 13th session free. There is no sign-up fee and no free trial. The price includes a program written from your intake, and it runs spring through fall while the weather allows.

Where does the $68 go?
A session with one coach and no one else on the clock. Before the first one, an intake: goals, injuries, schedule, the equipment you own. From that I write your program, and each session adds notes so the next one builds on this one.
The gym is a private garage with a full free-weight setup, so the price is not paying for a building, a front desk or a row of machines nobody uses. It is paying for the eyes on your bar path.
Do the packs actually save money?
Four sessions bought singly would be $272, so the 4-pack at $248 saves $24. Twelve bought singly would be $816, and the 12-pack is $698 plus a free 13th session. Those are the whole numbers; there is no discount code and no seasonal sale.
The bigger saving in a pack is not the dollars. It is that a paid block of twelve is a commitment you made to yourself in September that still holds in October. The in-person personal training page has the offers side by side.
Why is there no free first session?
Because a free session sells the wrong thing. It sells the feeling of a workout, and one workout tells you almost nothing about whether a coach will get you to month six. The intake and the first paid session tell you a lot more, and I would rather earn the second booking than give away the first.
The one free session is the 13th on a 12-pack. That rewards the person who stuck around, which is the person I want in the garage.
How does it compare with a trainer at a big gym?
At a commercial gym, part of every trainer fee pays for the building and the membership on top of it. The trainer often did not write the program, and the program often did not start with an intake. I will not put a number on other people's prices, because they change and I do not run their books.
What I can say is what the garage rate includes: the program, the notes, the form guides in the library and a coach who has been on gym floors since 2003. Compare that list, not only the hourly figure. Every price I charge, online and in person, sits on the personal training page.
Cannot make the drive every week?
Buy fewer sessions and train online in between. Plenty of people do one garage session a week and send me their numbers from a home setup. In-person against online coaching lays out how that mix works and what it costs.
And if the drive is the problem, small group training at $28 a person makes the trip cheaper to justify, especially with a friend in the car. Common questions
Is the price the same for a small group?
No. A small group is $28 a person a session, or $298 a person for a 12-pack, because the hour is shared between three or four people.
Can I pay per session?
Yes. $68, one at a time. The packs are there for people who know they are staying.
What happens to unused sessions when winter comes?
Ask before you buy a pack late in the season and we will size it to the weeks left. Sessions do not vanish; they wait for spring, or the program moves online for the winter.
